General Manager at an Undisclosed Leisure Facility via Ellasot Consulting – Port Harcourt

An undisclosed leisure and entertainment organisation is recruiting a General Manager in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, through Ellasot Consulting. This full-time position oversees business performance, customer experience, departmental operations and strategic development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across customer service, attractions, food and beverage, facilities, sales, marketing and administration.
• Set operational policies, service standards, maintenance priorities and business performance objectives.
• Manage budgets, monitor costs and identify ways to improve revenue, profitability and utilisation.
• Strengthen guest satisfaction, resolve escalated concerns and develop repeat patronage.
• Lead departmental managers, oversee recruitment and training and review staff performance.
• Support promotions, partnerships, corporate bookings and special events.
• Maintain safe operation of facilities and attractions and oversee health, hygiene and risk controls.
• Report financial, operational and departmental performance to management and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Management or a related field.
• Five to seven years’ management experience, preferably in hospitality, recreation, entertainment or facilities management.
• Experience leading multiple departments and sizeable teams.
• Strong financial management, revenue development, people leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer service knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant management systems.
• Applicants must reside in Port Harcourt.
