Geography and Technical Drawing Teacher at TAAS Group of Schools – Ibadan

TAAS Group of Schools is recruiting a Geography and Technical Drawing (TD) Teacher in Omi-Apata, Ibadan, Oyo State. The role covers classroom teaching, assessment and pupil support.

Teaching responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured Geography and Technical Drawing lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, learning materials and assessments.
• Evaluate learning, keep academic records and report progress.
• Maintain effective classroom management and support varied student learning needs.
• Use practical teaching activities, relevant resources and appropriate technology.
• Contribute to staff meetings, extracurricular activities, pupils’ wellbeing and school collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Education or a relevant subject discipline; a teaching qualification is an advantage.
• Previous relevant teaching experience is an advantage.
• Strong subject knowledge, teaching practice, classroom management and assessment skills.
• Professional conduct, patience, creativity, communication and commitment to school standards.
