Operator – Waste Water Treatment Plant – B2C at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc – Ibadan, Oyo

Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc is recruiting an Operator for its B2C Waste Water Treatment Plant in Ibadan, Oyo State. The position operates treatment equipment, monitors critical control points and helps ensure wastewater is managed safely in line with environmental and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the wastewater-treatment process and plant equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of the plant’s critical control points and monitor process operation.
• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Measure and mix the chemicals used for wastewater treatment, following appropriate safety procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the treatment plant.
• Monitor availability of process chemicals and other materials needed to run the facility.
• Record plant activity in daily operating logs.
• Check that treated and discharged water meets the applicable requirements for environmental protection.
• Protect personal and team safety and follow food safety management system requirements in assigned activities.
• Carry out other related tasks assigned by management.

Qualification and Experience

• At least five credits in O’Levels, or an accepted Trade Test, City & Guilds or OND qualification in Science or Engineering.
• At least two years of cognate experience, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing or production.
