Head of Operations – Pharmacy and Medical Supplies at Med-vical International – Benin

Med-vical International is recruiting a full-time Head of Operations in Benin City to oversee procurement, stores, supply chains, distribution and compliance for pharmaceutical and medical supplies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Pharmacy and Medical Supplies Division, developing operating policies and standard procedures.
• Manage procurement, inventory levels, suppliers, warehouses and timely distribution of medical products.
• Monitor expiries, losses, costs and operational performance while enforcing inventory and financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with NAFDAC, PCN and other applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
• Prepare operating budgets, oversee vendor negotiations and lead supply-chain and pharmacy personnel.
• Report performance and work with clinical, finance and commercial departments on service improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Five to seven years’ relevant operations or healthcare supply-chain experience, including two to three years supervising others.
• Pharmacist applicants must be registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria.
• Strong pharmaceutical regulation, stock-control, procurement, leadership and ERP skills; CIPS is an advantage.
