Import Officer at ShogxyPro Outsourcing – Ikeja, Lagos
ShogxyPro Outsourcing is recruiting an Import Officer in Ikeja, Lagos, for its procurement and supply-chain function. The position manages imports from purchase order through final delivery and reports to the Supply Chain / Procurement Manager.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate purchase orders, shipping and delivery, resolving import and logistics delays.
- Prepare and manage Form M, PAAR, SONCAP, bills of lading, clearance documents and other required permits.
- Liaise with customs agents, shipping companies and regulators to secure cargo clearance.
- Monitor duties, taxes, freight, demurrage and transport costs while improving lead times.
- Work with international vendors, freight forwarders and warehouse staff to ensure timely receipt of materials.
Requirements
- BSc or HND in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics or a related area.
- Three to five years’ import documentation, customs clearance and logistics experience in Nigeria.
- Manufacturing, FMCG or commodities-sector experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, customs duty calculations, ERP platforms and advanced Excel.
