Imprest Officer at Nigeria Sinotrucks Limited – Sagamu, Ogun
Nigeria Sinotrucks Limited is recruiting a full-time Imprest Officer in Sagamu, Ogun State. The officer will administer imprest transactions, verify expenditure and maintain accurate reconciliations in line with financial procedures.
Responsibilities
- Review imprest requests and disburse funds following approval.
- Record all imprest transactions and verify receipts and other retirement documents.
- Reconcile imprest accounts, monitor outstanding balances and follow up on unretired funds.
- Prepare periodic reports on imprest utilisation and reconciliations.
- Support budget tracking, expenditure controls and compliance with accounting policies.
- Work with internal and external auditors and assist the Finance and Administration teams.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Not more than one year of experience in finance, accounting or cash management.
- Only residents of Sagamu are eligible.
- Understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, Excel and accounting applications.
- Strong accuracy, analytical thinking, record-keeping, confidentiality, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
