Internal Auditor at an Undisclosed Company (via Change Room) – Ogun

Change Room is recruiting a full-time Internal Auditor for an undisclosed employer in Ogun State. The position evaluates internal controls, documents risks and findings, and works with teams to improve compliance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and carry out internal audits of financial and operational controls and processes.
• Identify weaknesses and risks, and propose practical corrective actions.
• Document findings, recommendations and implementation plans for management.
• Coordinate with different departments to implement recommendations and monitor progress.
• Monitor regulatory changes, auditing standards and relevant developments.
• Advise management and employees on internal controls and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least three years’ experience in internal auditing.
• Knowledge of internal audit standards, controls and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office.
• CPA or CIA professional certification is preferred.
