Inventory Support Officer – Spare Parts at Moniepoint Incorporated – Lagos

Moniepoint Incorporated is recruiting an Inventory Support Officer – Spare Parts in Lagos. The role manages the lifecycle of repair consumables, including batteries, screens, cables and accessories, ensuring technicians have the required parts and all movements remain documented and traceable.

Responsibilities

• Receive spare-parts consignments and verify batches and serial numbers against delivery notes before recording them in the inventory management system (IMS).
• Store parts in designated, labelled bins organised by part type and model compatibility.
• Protect electronic components from moisture, dust and extreme temperatures.
• Issue spare parts only against approved job cards raised by technicians and validated by the Repair Centre Manager.
• Update IMS stock levels immediately after every issue and maintain a record of all movements.
• Manage unused or incorrectly issued parts returned by technicians and update the inventory system.
• Reconcile physical spare-parts stock against IMS records weekly.
• Identify slow-moving, expired or obsolete parts and flag them to the Lead, Inventory Support.
• Raise replenishment requests when stock reaches the defined reorder threshold.
• Generate weekly consumption and stock-position reports and maintain an issuance log linking each part to its job card and technician.
• Track part-failure data to support procurement and original-equipment-manufacturer quality feedback.
• Maintain proper storage zoning, labelling and cleanliness, enforce segregation of duties and support scheduled and spot-check inventory counts.

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum of an OND in a related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in inventory operations.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in inventory-management systems and workflow applications.
• Experience handling large volumes of items.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organisation and record-keeping skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
