Land Surveyor, Entry Level at Fiphs Infrastructure Limited – Port Harcourt, Rivers
Fiphs Infrastructure Limited is recruiting a full-time Land Surveyor in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to support land investigations, site measurements and preparation of survey information for engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist with surveys and investigations of land surfaces.
- Measure distances, angles, elevations and other ground features accurately.
- Collect field data on natural and built features and verify survey calculations.
- Use digital mapping, GIS, CAD and data-processing applications to analyse sites and present findings.
- Prepare maps, plans and survey exhibits, and resolve specialised surveying issues.
- Work with civil and design engineers on project information and surveying requirements.
- Help supervise survey work and maintain productivity and project deadlines.
Requirements
- First degree in Land Surveying from a recognised university.
- Three years’ post-NYSC field experience in land surveying.
- Ability to perform horizontal and vertical survey calculations.
- Knowledge of standard surveying practice and ability to work with engineers, contractors and clients.
- Leadership, judgement, initiative and commitment to professional development.
