Site Coordinator – Woodwork & Interior Fit-Out via Proten International – Abuja, Port Harcourt & Lagos

An undisclosed client of Proten International is recruiting three full-time Site Coordinators for luxury woodwork and interior fit-out projects in Abuja, Port Harcourt and Lagos. Each coordinator will oversee on-site installation of bespoke joinery, verify quality and keep projects on programme and within approved specifications.

Site coordination and installation

• Coordinate daily activities and supervise installation of bespoke kitchens, wardrobes, cabinets, vanities, doors, TV units, reception counters and wall cladding.
• Interpret production drawings, shop drawings and technical specifications and ensure installations follow approved details.
• Plan installation schedules, subcontractor assignments and material deliveries with site, stores and production teams.
• Resolve technical issues with clients, architects, contractors, consultants and other trades, limiting disruption and delays.
• Monitor material usage, protection of finished components, waste and project progress.
• Prepare daily reports, site instructions, information requests, variation records, progress photographs and snag lists.
• Inspect completed works, close defects before handover and uphold safety and company procedures across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Wood Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• At least three years’ relevant experience in luxury woodwork, bespoke joinery or interior fit-out projects; the stated range is three to five years.
• Proven supervision of installations such as custom kitchens, wardrobes, cabinets, TV units, bathroom vanities and interior panels.
• Understanding of joinery manufacture, finishes, setting out, construction sequencing, MEP coordination, quality control and snag management.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work with veneers, laminates, HPL, MDF, plywood, joinery hardware and associated fittings.
• Strong communication, leadership, site organisation and problem-solving skills.
• A valid driving licence.
