BridgeHedge Limited is recruiting a Logistics / Warehouse Manager in Makurdi to manage incoming goods, inventory, order fulfilment, deliveries and warehouse safety.

Job Summary

• The Logistics / Warehouse Manager will oversee the receipt, storage, inventory management, and distribution of company products and materials, ensuring accurate stock records, efficient deliveries, and smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the receipt, inspection, storage, and dispatch of products and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure regular stock counts.
• Monitor stock levels and promptly report shortages, damaged goods, and discrepancies.
• Coordinate deliveries, transportation, loading, and distribution to customers and sales outlets.
• Ensure orders are accurately picked, packaged, and dispatched on schedule.
• Supervise warehouse personnel, drivers, and loading staff where applicable.
• Maintain proper warehouse organisation, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Track delivery expenses and identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs.
• Prepare daily or weekly reports on inventory, dispatches, deliveries, and operational issues.
• Ensure proper documentation for stock movement, delivery notes, invoices, and goods received.
• Prevent stock losses, unauthorised releases, and avoidable product damage.

• Inventory accuracy and frequency of stock discrepancies.
• Timely and accurate order fulfilment.
• On-time delivery rate.
• Reduction in stock losses and damaged goods.
• Control of transportation and warehouse operating costs.
• Timely submission of inventory and logistics reports.

Requirements

• HND or B.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or logistics operations.
• Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
• Good record-keeping and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate staff, deliveries, and multiple operational tasks effectively.
