Maintenance Manager (5-Star Luxury Hotel) at Tivana Workforce – Abuja

Tivana Workforce is recruiting a full-time Maintenance Manager for a five-star luxury hotel in Abuja. The role oversees engineering operations, preventive maintenance, facility safety and capital projects to maintain high property standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and guest-room maintenance.
• Develop and review preventive maintenance schedules for guest rooms, public areas and equipment.
• Manage departmental costs, utilities and contracts with external service providers.
• Oversee fire and life safety, building-code and other operational compliance.
• Lead, schedule, train and mentor engineering and maintenance employees.
• Support capital improvements while limiting disruption to hotel guests.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant trade certification, preferred.
• Five to ten years’ experience managing maintenance or facilities, ideally in a luxury hotel or upscale commercial property.
• Practical knowledge of chillers, boilers, emergency power and engineering systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and discreet problem-solving skills.
