Male / Female Hotel General Supervisor at Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited – Epe

Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited seeks a Hotel General Supervisor for Epe, Lagos. The Operations department position reports to the Hotel Manager or General Manager and oversees daily service standards across hotel departments.

Hotel operations and staff supervision

• Coordinate front office, housekeeping, restaurant, bar, kitchen, laundry, maintenance and security operations.
• Check staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, duties and shift handovers; escalate serious conduct issues.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and operational facilities for cleanliness, safety and readiness.
• Resolve guest complaints where possible, follow up on requests and report recurring service issues.

Departmental coordination and controls

• Monitor restaurant and bar service, food hygiene, guest experience and service delays.
• Track responsible use of supplies and equipment, approved departmental requisitions, wastage and stock shortages.
• Report maintenance, plumbing, air-conditioning, generator and electrical faults and monitor repair follow-up.
• Support adherence to hotel policies, opening and closing procedures, safety and security practices.
• Prepare daily operational reports and keep accurate records of incidents, staff absences and guest concerns.

Requirements

• Relevant hotel-operations supervisory experience and knowledge of hospitality service standards.
• An OND or HND in hospitality or hotel management, or a related discipline, is an advantage.
• Leadership, staff-management, communication and guest-service problem-solving skills.
• Sound judgement, integrity, attention to detail and the ability to prepare reports with limited supervision.
