Dangote Industries Limited seeks a Manager, Mechanical L3&4 to lead mechanical maintenance and improve equipment reliability at its cement plant in Ibese.
Responsibilities
- Direct mechanical maintenance teams and oversee crushers, mills, conveyors, kilns and related plant machinery.
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programmes and monitor their effectiveness.
- Investigate equipment failures, analyse reliability data and implement corrective measures.
- Coordinate maintenance activities during shutdowns, major repairs and overhauls.
- Manage spare parts, budgets and personnel, and mentor engineering and technical staff.
- Maintain safe working practices and drive improvements in plant efficiency and downtime.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 18 years’ relevant experience in mechanical maintenance and operations within cement or another heavy process industry.
- Demonstrated managerial responsibility, technical knowledge of cement production and mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving, reliability engineering, communication and team leadership skills.
- Knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards and maintenance best practices.
