Dangote Industries Limited is seeking a Deputy General Manager, Mechanical for maintenance leadership at its cement plant in Ibese, Ogun State.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical maintenance team and oversee plant reliability and equipment upkeep.
- Establish and enforce preventive maintenance processes for machinery and facilities.
- Plan maintenance expenditure and work with procurement to ensure timely availability of equipment and materials.
- Develop replacement and upgrade plans for ageing plant machinery.
- Report maintenance performance to senior management and coordinate maintenance activities with production teams.
- Ensure adherence to applicable safety requirements and operating regulations.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 24 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance of cement plants.
- Extensive understanding of cement manufacturing operations and mechanical plant equipment.
- Proven ability to manage maintenance teams, budgets, purchasing and inventory.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
