Metal Craft Fabrications Nigeria Limited is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer in Abuja.
Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and layouts and carry out basic material calculations.
- Supervise mechanical installation, fabrication, construction and commissioning works.
- Coordinate welders, technicians, fabricators and contractors and inspect completed work.
- Monitor quality, safety, progress and compliance with approved engineering requirements.
- Produce technical, maintenance and project reports and document completed work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and practical mechanical engineering knowledge.
- Experience in elevators or lifts, fabrication, construction or industrial machinery is an advantage.
- Ability to read drawings, use measuring equipment, troubleshoot faults and apply fabrication principles.
- Basic AutoCAD or similar design software knowledge, project management and reporting skills.
