Mechanical Manager – Power Plant at Dangote Cement Plc – Obajana, Kogi State

Dangote Cement Plc is hiring a Mechanical Manager for its power plant in Obajana, Kogi State, to oversee mechanical maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Raise and prioritise maintenance work orders for mechanical faults and assign work to skilled technicians.
• Supervise complex mechanical repairs and compliance with established maintenance standards.
• Deliver preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Maintain safe working conditions, good housekeeping and effective technical supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 15 years’ relevant work experience in gas-based power plant operations.
• Expertise in gas turbines, air and natural-gas compressors, cooling towers, pumps, valves, firefighting, water-treatment and associated mechanical equipment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, written communication and SAP/Microsoft Office skills.
