Power Plant Operations Manager at Dangote Cement Plc – Obajana, Kogi

Dangote Cement Plc is recruiting a Power Plant Operations Manager at its Obajana plant in Kogi State to supervise power generation operations and shift safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily and general shift operations to maintain safe, reliable power plant performance.
• Coordinate testing of firefighting systems and maintain associated safety records.
• Prepare and implement standard operating procedures and deliver in-house training to plant personnel.
• Ensure accurate SAP posting of plant production data and maintain operational reports.
• Monitor equipment condition, outstanding maintenance jobs, emergency response and housekeeping.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• At least 15 years of plant experience in gas-based power plant operations.
• Strong knowledge of plant systems, operational interactions and production reporting.
• Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office, problem-solving, teamwork and written communication.
