National On-Trade / On-Premise Manager at an Undisclosed Company – Isolo

An alcoholic beverages business is recruiting a National On-Trade / On-Premise Manager in Isolo, Lagos, through Jobtion Consulting. Reporting to the Head of Sales, this leadership role will grow sales to hotels, restaurants, bars, lounges, clubs and hospitality groups throughout Nigeria.

Commercial strategy and accounts

• Build and execute national, regional and account-level on-trade sales plans and forecasts.
• Grow revenue, volume, market share and profitability across relevant beverage brands.
• Identify hospitality accounts, develop key customer relationships and negotiate commercial terms.
• Lead customer acquisition, retention, channel partnerships and geographic expansion.
• Work with marketing on compliant brand activations, menu listings, tastings and product visibility.

Team and commercial operations

• Recruit, coach and assess the national field sales team, setting KPIs and territory plans.
• Coordinate distributor performance, stock availability, fulfilment and routes to market.
• Work with Finance on customer credit, overdue balances, promotional spending and commercial returns.
• Produce revenue, volume, account performance, competitor and market intelligence reports.
• Maintain reliable CRM/SFA records and forecasts and promote responsible marketing practices.

Candidate profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Hospitality Management or a related discipline.
• Seven to ten years of relevant sales or commercial experience, including at least three to five years in sales leadership or strategic accounts.
• Demonstrated success in on-trade sales to hotels, restaurants, lounges, bars or similar customers.
• Strong negotiation, leadership, commercial analysis, forecasting and Excel/CRM skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Nigeria.
