An employer in Jibowu, Lagos, is recruiting an Office Cleaner / Janitor through Excellent Jobs to maintain tidy, safe facilities, cleaning supplies and routine housekeeping records.
Role overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented office cleaner/Janitor capable of taking care of our facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.
Responsibilities
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces in their work area including working areas, Toilets, kitchens and supply closets
- Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)
- Washing kitchen napkins, floor rags and dusters.
- Empty and clean trash/recycling bins and taking waste to designated collection points
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed by all staff
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as required
Requirements and skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–5years of Janitorialor cleaning experience
- Working knowledge of the English language
- He/She should be able to read and write.
- Excellent organization and housekeeping skills
- Working knowledge of health and safety standards in their industry
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Candidate must reside in YABA or around it environment.
- Must be between 27- 30 years of age.
