Online French Tutor at Tutorszone.ng – Remote (Anywhere in Nigeria)

Tutorszone.ng is recruiting a part-time Online French Tutor for a remote position open to applicants anywhere in Nigeria. The tutor will teach students virtually, either individually or in small groups, delivering structured lessons and supporting academic progress.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach engaging online French lessons aligned with the relevant curriculum.
• Assess learning outcomes, give feedback and track student progress.
• Use slides, videos, virtual whiteboards and other teaching tools effectively.
• Maintain a quiet, professional learning environment and attend lessons punctually.
• Upload teaching materials and required reports and communicate with parents or guardians where appropriate.

Requirements

• At least a bachelor’s degree; Education or a relevant discipline is preferred. A teaching certificate is an advantage.
• Minimum of two years’ teaching experience, online or in person, including work with children or teenagers.
• Confident use of Zoom, Google Meet and similar virtual teaching platforms.
• Strong French teaching, communication, classroom-management, patience and adaptability skills.
• Reliable laptop, stable internet connection, clear-audio headset and a quiet teaching space.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technology problems, attend scheduled classes consistently and participate in training and class observation.
• Experience with British, Canadian or other international curricula is an advantage.
