OSB Business Analyst – Telecom Integration (OSB to WSO2 MI Migration) at Vennote Technologies Limited – Lagos
Vennote Technologies Limited seeks an OSB Business Analyst in Lagos to document telecom Oracle Service Bus integrations, specify migration to WSO2 Micro Integrator and govern API standards.
Responsibilities
- Catalogue OSB proxies, business services, transformations, adapters, routing, security and integration dependencies.
- Reverse-engineer undocumented services, documenting use cases, business processes, contracts, consumers, error handling and SLAs.
- Identify redundant services, plan rationalisation and document target WSO2 MI equivalents, migration specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Group services into migration waves with architects and define cut-over, parallel-running and rollback requirements.
- Set REST/OpenAPI standards including naming, versioning, error models, OAuth2/JWT, mTLS, pagination and canonical-data models.
- Guide SOAP-to-REST conversion, TM Forum alignment, API cataloguing and specification reviews.
- Support equivalence testing, SIT/UAT, cut-over, hypercare and incident triage with technical teams.
- Facilitate requirements and programme discussions across telecom BSS/OSS owners, vendors, developers, testers and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
- At least eight years in IT integration, including five years hands-on with Oracle SOA Suite/OSB and three years of OSB estate analysis.
- Demonstrated OSB implementation experience and working familiarity with WSO2 MI, integration protocols, REST/OpenAPI governance and telecom systems.
- Knowledge of TM Forum standards, BPMN/UML, requirements tools, SQL, SoapUI/Postman and agile or waterfall delivery.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-facilitation skills.
- Relevant Oracle, WSO2, business-analysis, TM Forum or agile certifications are preferred.
- Experience on an MTN account, completed OSB-to-WSO2 migrations, WSO2 API Manager, containers and multi-country programmes is advantageous.
