Test Analyst – Integration Testing (OSB/WSO2, API Automation, Performance) at Vennote Technologies Limited – Lagos

Vennote Technologies Limited seeks an experienced Test Analyst in Lagos to validate Oracle Service Bus (OSB) to WSO2 migration, automate API regression testing and assess performance against telecom service-level agreements.

Responsibilities

• Analyse OSB services, WSDL/XSD and OpenAPI contracts, pipelines, transformations and routing to design test scenarios.
• Test functional, integration and end-to-end SOAP/REST services, JMS, adapters, security and fault handling.
• Compare OSB and WSO2 MI outputs and side effects, including parallel-run migration testing; prepare test data, mocks and stubs for BSS/OSS systems.
• Build SOAP/REST regression automation using tools such as Postman/Newman, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, REST Assured or Karate; integrate into CI/CD and track results.
• Design and run throughput, latency, concurrency, soak, spike and failover tests using JMeter, Gatling or LoadRunner.
• Investigate performance bottlenecks, report SLA compliance and retest corrections.
• Prepare test plans, traceability, defects, test summaries and exit reports; support SIT, UAT, cut-over rehearsals and hypercare.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, platform teams and customer stakeholders, communicating quality risks with evidence.
• Support urgent issue analysis and out-of-hours migration windows where required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least seven years of software-testing experience, including four years of SOA/OSB integration testing and three years in demanding agile delivery teams.
• Hands-on Oracle Service Bus testing, WSO2 MI/API Manager knowledge, SOAP and REST automation, performance testing and CI/CD experience.
• Knowledge of WSDL, XSD, XML, JSON, JMS, OAuth2/WS-Security, SQL, Linux and log analysis.
• Telecom BSS/OSS knowledge across CRM, charging, billing, order management and provisioning, plus strong documentation and stakeholder skills.
• ISTQB, Oracle/WSO2, TM Forum and agile certifications are desirable.
• Previous MTN work, completed OSB-to-WSO2 migrations, service virtualisation, contract testing, observability and multi-country telecom programmes are advantages.
