Payroll Officer at Estrada International Staffing Solutions – Surulere (Hybrid)
Estrada International Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Payroll Officer in Surulere, Lagos, for a hybrid schedule of three on-site and two remote days each week. The role also supports compensation and benefits analysis.
Reports to: Operations Lead / Chief Recruitment Officer. Grade: Associate. Gross monthly salary: ₦250,000.
Responsibilities
- Benchmark pay against market surveys and review internal pay equity.
- Develop salary structures, bands, incentive and commission models and job-evaluation approaches.
- Analyse benefits, including health insurance, pensions, life cover and wellness plans, and monitor their costs.
- Calculate monthly payroll, deductions and payments for employees and outsourcing clients.
- Handle statutory PAYE, pensions, NHF, NSITF and ITF compliance and remittances.
- Reconcile reports, respond to employee pay enquiries and maintain accurate audit and filing records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related subject.
- One to three years of experience in compensation, benefits, HR analytics or financial analysis.
- Practical knowledge of salary benchmarking, benefits schemes, payroll and statutory compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling, lookup functions and pivot tables; familiarity with HRIS tools.
- Accuracy, confidentiality, professional client communication and ability to manage several accounts.
