Quality Control Officer (Soap Manufacturing) at AAVA Brands – Lagos

AAVA Brands Limited is recruiting a full-time, on-site Quality Control Officer for soap manufacturing in Lagos. The role inspects raw materials, production processes and finished products, and records quality results.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to join our soap manufacturing plant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quality checks on raw materials, production processes and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.

Key Requirements

• OND, HND or B.Sc. in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related science discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant Quality Control experience in soap manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment, preferably in personal care, cosmetics or chemical products.
• Practical knowledge of quality testing, sampling and inspection procedures.
• Ability to conduct and document product quality tests, including pH, weight, appearance and other relevant product specifications.
• Understanding of in-process quality control, raw material inspection and finished product evaluation.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene standards and laboratory safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and accurate record-keeping.
