Kitchen Accountant at The Place (Smackers Limited) – Mainland, Lagos

The Place (Smackers Limited) is recruiting a Kitchen Accountant for its Mainland Lagos operations. The position oversees kitchen production records, daily inventory movement and financial reconciliation between kitchen and restaurant locations.

Responsibilities

• Check food portioning for accuracy using the Portion Calculator.
• Record completed kitchen production in Navision to create the correct inventory quantities.
• Process daily transfers of produced items from the kitchen to restaurant locations and monitor the receipt of transfer orders raised by production supervisors.
• Prepare and post kitchen loss reports and product variance reports.
• Monitor integration between Ezee and Navision, reconciling inventory in both systems against the physical stock held at kitchen and restaurant locations.
• Balance kitchen and restaurant inventory accurately every day and investigate significant variances before posting them to the general ledger.
• Post items for expense and staff meals to their appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Maintain the Product Ageing Tracker and escalate ageing stock or other concerns.
• Open and close restaurant operating days in Ezee Burrp and report abnormal handling or misuse of customer products.

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum OND and maximum HND qualification.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Computer literacy and competence in Microsoft Excel.
• Good numerical ability and an interest in working with calculations.
• Clear communication, professional composure and attention to detail.
• Applicants must reside in Ikeja, Ogba or Akowonjo.
