Risk Manager at Phillips Outsourcing Limited – Lagos
Phillips Outsourcing Limited is recruiting a full-time Risk Manager for a Lagos-based Risk and Internal Control function in the pension financial-services sector. The role oversees risk management, controls and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and review the organisation’s risk policies and control frameworks.
- Identify, assess and monitor operational, financial and strategic risk exposures.
- Review internal controls and recommend improvements to strengthen assurance.
- Coordinate risk assessments, compliance reviews and periodic audits.
- Report identified risks and corrective recommendations to management.
- Track risk-mitigation actions and support risk awareness throughout business units.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Ten to fifteen years of relevant experience in risk management, internal audit or internal control.
- Strong grasp of risk-assessment methods, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in a recognised audit firm or financial institution is preferred.
- ACA, ACCA, CIA or comparable certification is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical judgement, problem-solving, reporting and communication.
