Risk Officer at Phillips Outsourcing Limited – Lagos
Phillips Outsourcing Limited is recruiting a full-time Risk Officer in Lagos for the Risk and Internal Control function of a pension financial-services operation.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, analyse and document organisational and operational risks.
- Support risk reviews and follow through on agreed mitigation plans.
- Assess internal controls and highlight weaknesses requiring corrective action.
- Assist with internal audits, compliance reviews and regulatory monitoring.
- Prepare assessment reports and keep risk documentation current.
- Follow up unresolved control issues and promote good risk practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Four to six years’ relevant experience in risk, internal audit or internal control.
- Understanding of audit procedures, risk assessment and regulatory compliance.
- Audit-firm or financial-institution experience is preferred.
- ACA, ACCA, CIA or similar qualifications are advantages.
- Sound analysis, reporting, organisation and communication.
