Role overview
AXA Mansard Insurance Plc is seeking a Risk & Internal Control Analyst in Lagos to support its operational and emerging risk processes and strengthen the consistent application of internal controls.
Key responsibilities
- Work with business teams to implement risk management frameworks, standards and risk-appetite reporting across relevant operations.
- Support the AXA Group internal control framework, including the design, documentation, assessment and monitoring of controls for material risks.
- Track control weaknesses, escalate emerging issues and report remediation progress to managers and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with first-line risk contacts, compliance, legal, information security, business continuity and internal audit teams.
- Coordinate governance meetings, risk awareness training and engagement with business units.
- Maintain approved internal control policies, management reports and evidence for auditors, while aligning practices with AXA Group requirements.
