Senior Marketing Manager (FMCG | Packaged Foods) at Undisclosed Company via Elevare Human Solutions Limited – Lagos
An expanding packaged-food business is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager in Lagos to lead brand strategy, launches and consumer marketing for its seasonings, snacks and breakfast products.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver brand and category marketing plans aligned with commercial priorities.
- Lead product positioning, market introductions, consumer trials and initiatives that encourage repeat purchases.
- Commission market research, interpret consumer insights and use findings to refine marketing campaigns.
- Manage creative, media, digital and activation partners, including their budgets and deliverables.
- Coordinate packaging, advertising, marketing communications and promotional activity.
- Plan campaign calendars, track expenditure and assess marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
- Work with Sales, Manufacturing, Research and Development, and Supply Chain teams on product launches.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
- Typically eight to twelve years’ FMCG marketing experience, including at least three years leading brands, launches, agencies or teams.
- Strong experience marketing packaged foods to Nigerian consumers; seasonings, snacks or breakfast categories are particularly desirable.
- Evidence of bringing products to market and understanding Nigerian general trade and regional consumer behaviour.
- Practical ability in brand management, digital campaigns, research, field activations, agency management and budget control.
