National Sales Manager (FMCG / Food Manufacturing) at Undisclosed Company via Elevare Human Solutions Limited – Lagos
A growing FMCG manufacturer is hiring a National Sales Manager in Lagos to establish nationwide sales operations and distribution for seasonings, snacks and breakfast products.
Key responsibilities
- Build and execute national sales strategies, route-to-market plans and distribution coverage.
- Recruit, develop and manage regional and field sales teams, establishing targets and performance controls.
- Develop distributor, sub-distributor, wholesale, general trade, modern trade and key-account relationships.
- Increase sales revenue, volume, collections and geographical market penetration.
- Manage sales forecasting, territory reports, available stock and distributor performance.
- Coordinate priorities with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.
- At least twelve years of progressive FMCG sales experience, including five years overseeing regional, multi-regional or national sales teams.
- Demonstrated distributor management, key account development, territory expansion and revenue growth.
- Deep familiarity with Nigerian general trade, open markets, pricing, margins, credit and collections.
- Seasonings or other packaged-food experience is preferred; transferable experience in other FMCG categories with distribution and launch responsibilities is also considered.
