Senior Mechanical Inspector (Offshore) at Hyde Energy Limited – Lagos
Hyde Energy Limited is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Inspector (Offshore) in Lagos to monitor fabrication and offshore installation quality activities.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee onshore fabrication and offshore installation inspections.
- Witness welding, non-destructive testing (NDT), post-weld heat treatment (PWHT), coatings, pressure tests and dimensional checks.
- Inspect materials, document non-conformances and sign inspection and test records (ITRs).
- Produce daily inspection updates and quality assurance/quality control reports.
Requirements
- Current BOSIET and OSP certificates and evidence of offshore medical fitness.
- Relevant ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP III, NDT Level II or CSWIP Plant Inspection certification, as appropriate to the role.
- Working familiarity with ISO, API, DNV and ASME standards.
- Strong health, safety, security and environmental awareness and ability to work independently.
