Senior Structural Engineer at an Undisclosed Agribusiness & Infrastructure Company via KannyVic – Delta

A fast-growing agribusiness and climate-smart infrastructure company is recruiting a full-time Senior Structural Engineer in Delta State through KannyVic Enterprise Consult. The position involves building structural design and travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural analysis, modelling and design for residential, commercial, industrial, multi-storey and high-rise buildings.
• Design foundations, beams, columns, slabs, shear walls, reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, specifications and engineering reports.
• Review structural integrity, stability and compliance with applicable standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors and construction teams.
• Provide technical support during construction and address structural design issues.

Requirements

• BSc in Civil, Building or Structural Engineering.
• At least ten years of relevant structural-engineering and building-design experience.
• Current COREN registration is required; NSE membership is an advantage.
• Practical experience with reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations and multi-storey buildings; direct high-rise experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, Autodesk Robot or comparable structural software.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit or other BIM/drafting tools and applicable Nigerian, British, Eurocode or ACI standards.
• Ability to travel to different project sites.

Mandatory project experience

Applicants must document at least three building projects on which they personally worked, identifying each project’s name and location, building type and number of floors, structural and foundation systems, their own design responsibilities, and available supporting evidence or references.
