Senior Technical Sales Executive at an IT Firm via Westfield Consulting – Lagos (Hybrid)

An information technology firm is recruiting a full-time Senior Technical Sales Executive through Westfield Consulting for a hybrid role on Lagos Island.

Responsibilities

• Identify and close enterprise technology and infrastructure opportunities with medium and large organisations.
• Develop a qualified pipeline, prospect for new accounts and deepen strategic customer relationships.
• Engage CIOs, CTOs, procurement leaders and other decision-makers to understand technical and business challenges.
• Sell relevant solutions across servers, storage, networking, data centres, cybersecurity, backup, cloud, virtualisation, licensing and managed services.
• Partner with presales engineers, vendors and OEMs on solution design, proposals, pricing, demonstrations and bids.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, including negotiation, forecasting, order follow-through and client handover.
• Build partner relationships and identify cross-selling, upselling and account-growth opportunities.
• Track revenue, gross margin, customer acquisition, pipeline conversion and annual targets.

Requirements

• Seven or more years’ technology-sales experience, ideally with a systems integrator, reseller, OEM or distributor.
• Evidence of enterprise infrastructure sales, achievement of targets and complex B2B deal management.
• Knowledge of enterprise IT systems and the technology vendor/channel ecosystem.
• Strong commercial negotiation, presentations, customer engagement and technical collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related subject is preferred; MBA or relevant certification is advantageous.
