Software Developer – AWS Cloud at Uridium Technologies – Lekki, Lagos

Uridium Technologies is recruiting an intermediate-level Software Developer – AWS Cloud in Lekki, Lagos, to build and maintain secure, scalable applications and cloud-based services.

Software and cloud development

• Develop, test, maintain and improve application features, backend services, APIs and system integration modules.
• Translate business requirements into reliable code, contribute to technical designs and participate in reviews.
• Deploy and support services on AWS using EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC and ECS/EKS where applicable.
• Manage configuration across development, testing, staging and production environments while monitoring performance and cloud costs.
• Build secure REST APIs and integrations with payment, banking, enterprise and other digital systems, documenting interfaces with OpenAPI or similar tools.
• Develop and optimise SQL database structures and queries, supporting migrations, backup and recovery.

Quality, security and delivery

• Write unit tests, support integration and regression testing and resolve defects with testers and business teams.
• Use Git, CI/CD pipelines and container-based delivery tools such as Docker, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline.
• Assist with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Apply secure coding, access controls, encryption and vulnerability remediation practices.
• Produce technical documentation, communicate delivery risks and work with DevOps, analysts and other developers.

Requirements

• B.Sc. degree with three to four years’ relevant software development experience.
• Practical understanding of application development, cloud computing, databases, testing and collaborative software delivery.
