Ernst & Young (EY) is recruiting a full-time Staff professional for Financial Accounting Advisory Services in Lagos. The role supports technical accounting analysis, financial reporting advice and client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Build productive year-round client relationships and clarify expected value.
- Analyse complex accounting matters involving Canadian GAAP, IFRS and financial reporting.
- Prepare client reports, deliverables and insights on key business and industry drivers.
- Contribute to process, project and change-management improvements.
- Support team development through delegation, performance feedback and shared learning.
- Monitor engagement progress and adjust plans to meet delivery objectives.
- Identify opportunities to serve clients, build networks and collaborate with other EY engagement teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or another appropriate academic discipline.
- Three to five years’ relevant experience and CPA or CA designation.
- Strong banking or insurance-sector experience and audit or accounting-standards application experience.
- Strong client relationship, teamwork, leadership and communication skills, including proficiency in English.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is an advantage.
