Terminal Operations & Business Development Manager at Excel and Grace Consulting – Lagos

Excel and Grace Consulting is recruiting a full-time Terminal Operations & Business Development Manager in Lagos. The position combines terminal management, customer acquisition and revenue growth. Monthly salary is ₦600,000.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily terminal activities, customer service, safety, operational performance and company-policy compliance.
• Develop sales initiatives and attract corporate accounts, group bookings, institutional customers and partners.
• Manage terminal staff, facilities, equipment, budgets, performance and resource utilisation.
• Monitor revenue, service quality, customer feedback, costs and operating efficiency.
• Maintain transaction and operational records, reconcile revenue and reduce cash-handling risks.
• Resolve client problems, strengthen customer relationships and improve retention.
• Prepare reports on sales opportunities, operational challenges and financial performance.
• Carry out management directives and recommend practical improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Transport Management, Marketing, Management or a relevant field.
• At least five years’ experience in terminal operations, transport, logistics, sales or business development.
• Proven people and resource management and business-acquisition capability.
• Strong negotiation, commercial, financial, leadership and customer service skills.
• Integrity, initiative, problem-solving and accountability; transport or logistics industry experience is an advantage.
