Logistics & Supply Chain Manager (Import & Export) at Fembol Group – Apapa, Lagos

Fembol Group is recruiting a full-time Logistics and Supply Chain Manager in Apapa, Lagos, to lead freight-forwarding, import, export, clearance, regulatory and client-service operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee import, export, freight forwarding, customs clearance and delivery from client instruction through shipment closure.
• Coordinate documentation, shipping, clearing and haulage teams to meet turnaround times and control avoidable costs.
• Supervise Key Account Managers, maintain client updates, resolve service issues and protect retention and billing accuracy.
• Oversee NAFDAC permits, inspections, product releases and coordination with SON, SONCAP and other regulators.
• Ensure accurate Form M, PAAR, customs declarations, permits and shipping documents, and resolve exceptions.
• Coordinate shipping lines, clearing agents, hauliers and trade partners, ensuring compliance with destination and Nigerian regulations.
• Lead, coach and assess regulatory, shipping, key-account and import/export personnel against defined KPIs.
• Manage logistics systems, operational budgets, demurrage risks, expenditure, reporting and audit-ready shipment records.
• Improve procedures, performance, documentation completeness and customer satisfaction across operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least seven years’ experience in logistics, import/export, freight forwarding or supply-chain management.
• Demonstrated leadership across multiple operations and strong knowledge of Nigerian customs, NAFDAC and SON requirements.
• Practical ability in documentation, performance reporting, client relationships, cost control and logistics software.
• Strong leadership, analysis, negotiation, communication, stakeholder engagement and accountability skills.
• Professional certification in logistics, freight forwarding or international trade is an advantage.
