Assistant Production Manager at Proforce Industries Limited – Ode Remo

Proforce Industries Limited is hiring an Assistant Production Manager at its armoured-vehicle manufacturing facility in Ode Remo, Ogun State. The role supports the Production Manager in coordinating vehicle assembly, fabrication and shop-floor productivity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day welding, panel-beating, electrical, upholstery, finishing and vehicle-assembly workflows.
• Track production targets, work in progress and schedules, resolving bottlenecks to support timely delivery.
• Coordinate engineering, design and workshop teams to implement drawings, specifications and bills of materials.
• Work with procurement and stores to secure materials, armour steel and components for planned assembly.
• Carry out production quality audits, address rework and enforce automotive and defence manufacturing standards.
• Apply lean methods such as 5S and Kaizen and reinforce workshop HSE practices.
• Coach and evaluate team leaders, technicians and production staff.

Requirements

• BSc or HND in Mechanical, Automotive, Production or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Four to seven years’ experience in automotive assembly, heavy-vehicle production or structural fabrication, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of chassis integration, powertrains, armour fitting, body-in-white assembly, line balancing and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings, CAD diagrams, bills of materials and quality-test specifications.
• Strong operational leadership, communication, analysis and project-management skills.
