Business Development Lead – IT / SaaS at Infytel Communications Limited – Lagos

Infytel Communications Limited is hiring an on-site Business Development Lead – IT / SaaS in Lagos to build the enterprise sales pipeline, grow revenue and develop key commercial partnerships. The role reports to the Head of Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop commercial plans and business-development strategies supporting revenue objectives.
• Find, qualify and convert IT and SaaS leads and manage opportunities from prospecting through contract closing.
• Build relationships with enterprise buyers, decision-makers, channel partners and strategic accounts.
• Research markets, competitive developments and customers’ changing technology needs.
• Lead sales presentations, product demonstrations, proposals, contract negotiations and partnership discussions.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales, presales, technology and customer-success teams to improve conversions.
• Maintain forecasts and KPIs, report pipeline and revenue performance and represent the company at relevant industry events.
• Keep up to date with company products, solution benefits and market positioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
• At least five years’ sales or business-development experience in IT, SaaS, technology or ICT.
• Proven sales experience with SaaS, software, cloud or technology solutions is mandatory.
• Strong B2B enterprise sales track record and experience managing the complete sales cycle.
• Knowledge of SaaS business models, CRM and sales tools.
• Excellent commercial judgement, negotiation, presentation, relationship management and team leadership.
