Mark Calthers Consulting Limited seeks a Business Development Manager in Gbagada, Lagos, to grow client relationships, build a sales pipeline and deliver revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement business-development plans aligned with company revenue goals.
• Identify and secure clients and partnerships across corporate, public-sector and SME segments.
• Manage prospecting, proposals, negotiations and deal closures, maintaining reliable pipeline forecasts.
• Grow existing accounts through retention, repeat business and referrals.
• Assess market trends and opportunities for additional services.
• Coordinate client onboarding with HR and delivery teams, represent the firm at external events, and supervise the business-development team.
• Track and report leads, conversions, revenue and team performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Sciences or a relevant field; an MBA or related certification is desirable.
• At least five years in sales, business development or client acquisition, including two years in management.
• Experience in consulting, professional services or B2B sales is preferred.
• Proven success against revenue targets and strong negotiation, presentation and proposal-writing abilities.
• Leadership, relationship management, Microsoft Office and CRM skills.
• Availability to travel when required.
