Business Development Manager (Mining Company) at Deepcore Mining Technology Limited – Kaduna
Deepcore Mining Technology Limited is seeking a Business Development Manager in Kaduna to grow mineral sourcing, trading and commercial partnerships in Nigeria’s mining sector.
Key responsibilities
- Find and develop new business, ore-sourcing relationships and commercial opportunities across the mining and minerals trade.
- Build supply networks involving licensed miners, small-scale and artisanal operators, mining cooperatives, lease and concession holders, aggregators, processing plants, depots and exporters.
- Source and negotiate supply for tantalite, columbite, wolframite, cassiterite, lithium-bearing minerals, beryl, mica, kaolin, feldspar and other mineral resources.
- Identify potential off-takers, investors and strategic partners; negotiate supply and commercial contracts.
- Monitor mineral production, trading activities, competitor developments and regional mineral-producing areas.
- Develop and execute business-development strategies that expand trading volume and profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mining Engineering, Geology, Mineral Resources Management, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
- Three to seven years’ relevant experience in business development or the mining and mineral-sourcing industry.
