Business Development Officer at EMR Mining – Ibadan, Oyo
EMR Mining is recruiting a Business Development Officer in Ibadan, Oyo State, to pursue new opportunities, develop client relationships and support commercial growth in quarrying and mineral operations. The position reports to the Head of Business Development.
Key responsibilities
- Identify prospective customers and development opportunities in mining and quarrying.
- Build commercial relationships with customers, project partners and other stakeholders.
- Prepare proposals, tenders, presentations and business reports.
- Contribute to the company’s strategy and market-expansion plans.
- Track market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with operational teams to support client satisfaction and project delivery.
- Maintain reliable records of the sales pipeline and commercial activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Geology, Engineering or a related field.
- Three to five years’ experience in business development or sales; quarrying or mining experience is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management tools.
- A valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
