Mines Surveyor at Mosra Energy Limited – Obolloafor
Mosra Energy Limited is recruiting a full-time Mines Surveyor in Obolloafor, Enugu State. The role supports mine planning, safe extraction, site evaluation and technical reporting across mining operations.
Responsibilities
- Undertake site surveys, risk reviews and environmental impact assessments for proposed mining activities.
- Plan and monitor mine layouts, extraction approaches, manpower and equipment requirements.
- Evaluate geological maps, drilling information and mineral deposits for practical development decisions.
- Inspect mine workings and equipment for unsafe conditions and coordinate safety programmes.
- Prepare operating schedules, cost estimates, production reports and environmental mitigation plans.
- Use mining design and mapping technology to support planning, mine modelling and operational decisions.
- Work with the Head of Mining Operations on project and production requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Surveying or a related field.
- At least five years of mining experience covering operations, engineering or project evaluation.
- Experience with surface mine design, surveying tools and planning software such as MineSight or AutoCAD.
- Ability to assess mine equipment, operating costs and technical maps.
- Strong mathematical, analytical and reporting skills with close attention to safety.
