NYSC Intern at Leap MicroFinance Institution – Abuja

Leap MicroFinance Institution is recruiting a serving NYSC Corps Member in Abuja to support its daily operations. Candidates will be assessed at interview and placed in an appropriate function according to their abilities and the institution’s operational needs.

Possible assignments

Social media support

• Maintain company social-media accounts and publish relevant content.
• Respond to enquiries, support digital campaigns and monitor engagement.
• Report on social-media activity and campaign performance.

Administration support

• Help maintain records and filing systems, prepare reports and enter data.
• Assist with correspondence, schedules and internal administrative communication.

Verification support

• Contact applicants, referees and guarantors to confirm loan details.
• Review submitted documents, assist with address or business checks and report findings confidentially.

Credit support

• Assist with customer acquisition and loan applications.
• Review loan documentation, support initial credit assessments and monitor repayments under supervision.
• Keep accurate credit records and follow institutional procedures.

Requirements

• Current NYSC service and eligibility for placement.
• Good communication, basic computer, organisation and attention-to-detail skills.
• Integrity, discretion, professionalism and willingness to learn and work with others.
• A degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline is an advantage.
• Exposure to social media, customer service, sales, administration, data entry or financial services is also an advantage.

Interview and placement

Assessment will consider communication, technical capability, customer-service approach, attention to detail and fit for the available assignments. Final placement will reflect the interview and business requirements.
