Business Development & Operations Coordinator at Undisclosed Company via Peridot Forte Solutions Consulting – Ikeja

An undisclosed food and beverage business is recruiting a Business Development & Operations Coordinator in Ikeja through Peridot Forte Solutions Consulting. The on-site position combines active market development, sales conversion and operational follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Find new customers, distribution partners and bulk-order opportunities among events businesses, corporate organisations, restaurants, supermarkets and retail channels.
• Prospect through field visits, networking, tastings, product sampling and introductions.
• Build relationships with caterers, event planners, restaurant managers, procurement teams and other buying contacts.
• Manage leads through proposals, sampling, follow-up, orders and repeat business.
• Represent the brand at events, pop-ups and other relevant sales opportunities.
• Support customer communications, order fulfilment, deliveries and operational coordination.
• Keep a current sales pipeline and collect market feedback on preferences, competitors and pricing.

Requirements

• A first degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Two to four years’ experience in sales, business development, partnerships, account management or related customer-facing roles.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, communication and relationship-management abilities.
• Experience building sales pipelines, converting leads and generating repeat business.
• Organisational skill and willingness to undertake field activities, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Working knowledge of WhatsApp, Instagram, email, spreadsheets and systems such as Zoho.
• Experience in food and beverage, FMCG, catering, hospitality or events is an advantage.
