Business Operations Manager at an Undisclosed Luxury Retail Brand via PeopleOS – Lekki

An undisclosed luxury retail brand is recruiting a full-time Business Operations Manager in Lekki, Lagos, through PeopleOS. The business sells premium kitchenware, bespoke culinary tools and home essentials to private and corporate customers. This leadership role combines commercial growth, store operations, people management and business controls.

Operations and business performance

• Lead day-to-day business operations and clarify responsibilities, workflows and performance expectations.
• Improve procedures and resolve operational bottlenecks while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
• Set and monitor sales goals, analyse performance and product turnover, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Strengthen customer acquisition, retention, conversion and average order value through account follow-up and relevant recommendations.

Sales, marketing and partnerships

• Coach the sales team, monitor individual results and introduce accountability or improvement plans with management approval.
• Coordinate with sales and social media colleagues on promotions, launches and customer engagement.
• Oversee enquiries arising through Instagram, WhatsApp and other channels through to conversion.
• Develop corporate, hospitality, restaurant and other business-to-business supply relationships.

Inventory, people and administration

• Maintain accurate stock and sales records, monitor replenishment priorities and reduce discrepancies and losses.
• Coordinate hiring, onboarding, employee records, attendance, training, appraisals and workplace policies.
• Monitor operating expenses, transaction documentation, performance measures and internal reporting.
• Recommend cost improvements while observing approved budgets and financial controls. Major commitments and strategic decisions require management approval.
