Development Manager at an Undisclosed Events Business via Lightread Consulting – Ipaja
An events-focused business in Ipaja, Lagos is hiring a full-time Development Manager through Lightread Consulting. The role combines facility operations, business development, customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily facility operations and maintain operational readiness for scheduled events.
- Build strategies to win new clients, raise event bookings and increase revenue.
- Identify partnerships, new business opportunities and additional income streams.
- Lead staff, strengthen service delivery and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Track bookings, sales results and business growth, and report opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Experience in business development, operations, hospitality, events or a related discipline.
- Strong leadership, organisation, communication, negotiation and customer management.
- Demonstrated ability to grow revenue, solve operational problems and work independently.
- Basic computer and reporting skills are an advantage.
- Available to resume as soon as possible.
Schedule and benefits
Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with one weekday off. Sunday availability is required when events are scheduled.
Monthly pay is ₦150,000–₦300,000, plus performance-based commission. Shared accommodation is provided.
