Compliance and Onboarding Specialist at an Undisclosed Banking Institution – Ikoyi, Lagos
An undisclosed banking institution is recruiting a full-time Compliance and Onboarding Specialist in Ikoyi, Lagos. The position coordinates partner onboarding across the organisation and ensures that banking, payments and merchant relationships meet compliance requirements before launch.
Responsibilities
- Verify that banks, payment processors, collection and payout partners, remittance partners, merchants and agents meet applicable KYC and KYB requirements.
- Prevent incomplete or non-compliant onboarding cases from going live.
- Collect, organise and retain complete due-diligence and onboarding records for each partner.
- Coordinate onboarding work between Compliance, Technology, Operations, Treasury and Business teams.
- Monitor regulatory records throughout the partnership and identify documents requiring renewal.
- Maintain accurate onboarding logs, statuses and supporting evidence.
- Apply organisational compliance policies, operational standards and partner due-diligence procedures.
- Serve as a central contact for internal onboarding activities.
