Content Creator / Social Media Officer at Voedsel Capital Limited – Port Harcourt, Rivers

Voedsel Capital Limited is recruiting a full-time Content Creator / Social Media Officer in Port Harcourt, GRA, Rivers State. The role combines digital content creation and social media management with front-office reception and administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the company’s social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
• Develop, create and publish digital content, including graphics, videos, captions, flyers and promotional materials.
• Plan and implement a consistent social media content calendar aligned with the company’s marketing and communication objectives.
• Capture, edit and produce pictures and videos showcasing the company’s activities, services, events and brand identity.
• Monitor social media platforms, manage engagement and respond professionally to comments and messages.
• Develop creative content ideas and campaigns to increase brand awareness, visibility and audience engagement.
• Monitor social media performance and prepare periodic reports on content reach, engagement and growth.
• Ensure published content reflects the company’s corporate image, communication standards and brand guidelines.
• Welcome and attend to walk-in clients, visitors and business associates courteously and professionally.
• Maintain a neat, presentable and organised reception area.
• Direct visitors and clients to appropriate personnel or departments and ensure they receive the necessary assistance.
• Attend to basic client enquiries and provide accurate information about the company’s products and services.
• Maintain visitor records and comply with front-office procedures.
• Coordinate the appearance and organisation of the reception area to promote a positive client experience.
• Provide general administrative and operational support as assigned by management.

Requirements and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mass Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• One to three years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
• Proficiency in Canva and other graphic design applications.
• Ability to create and edit videos using CapCut or similar applications.
• Good understanding of social media platforms, trends and digital marketing practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisation, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Professional appearance, confidence and a positive attitude.

Salary

₦190,000–₦200,000 per month, with other benefits inclusive.
